Man in the mirror by Michael Jackson is one of the most powerful, inspirational, and uplifting songs known to humankind. The message is pretty clear in this song. Most of us talk about change or changing our selves for the better, but for some reason most seem to fail at doing so. Reason being, most people are just all talk with no action. This type of behavior NEEDS TO STOP TODAY!
After watching this video, you’ll see why it’s up to us all, to not only say “I’m going to change for the better”, but follow those words with action. It is true that actions always speak louder than words. Michael Jackson, alongside many others such as Martin Luther King Jr, Mother Teresa, Mahatma Gandhi, Lao Tzu, Wayne W. Dyer, Anthony Robbins, have devoted their lives to helping make this world a better place for us to live in by first, changing themselves and their ways. Why? Because they knew the true beauty and blessings life has to offer when we make that change. We all can make changes in our lives to become even better people then we are today, even this very moment, reading this blog.
I tip my hat off to all of these people because, it is hard to change your ways when you have been in a routine for so many years, but it is possible. Before 1Cent-1Life became 1Cent-1Life, we too had to make some changes for the better. Chris, Nih, and myself, continuously make changes in our lives so that we can grow into the best people we can be. We do it because we see the world the way Michael Jackson, Martin Luther King Jr., Mother Teresa, Mahatma Gandhi, Lao Tzu, Wayne W. Dyer, Anthony Robbins, and many others, that contribute positively to human kind, see it. This is what it takes to have a 1Cent-1Life type of character.
If we truly want to see poverty, illness’s, propaganda, corruption, and war to end, then it is up to us to make this change happen, but the change has to start from within. After you watch this music video, or read the lyrics provided below, I want you to look yourself in the mirror and say… “I’m gonna make a change, for once in my life It’s gonna feel real good, gonna make a difference gonna make it right.” After saying these words to yourself many times, embody them and turn these words into action.
Talk is always cheap unless followed by action. It is in our actions where our words receive substance.
