Hourly Rates

Rates are calculated by estimated project hours and based on an hourly rate. Before a project begins a fee is agreed upon by the writer and client. Our hourly rates are as follows:

$75 – Copywriting

Creating written content for project from beginning to end. Includes assessment meeting, applicable research and two revised versions of project.

$50 – Rewording & editing

Modifying and revamping existing written content from client. Includes checks for spelling, grammar, punctuation, formatting and style.

$40 – Proofreading

Reviewing existing written content from client. Includes identifying errors in spelling, grammar, punctuation and style.


  • Each project begins with a complementary assessment meeting for new clients.
  • If project is cancelled during copywriting process, completed work up to that point will be paid for in full.
  • If project is cancelled after final work has been submitted, the initial agreed upon fee is to be paid in full.
  • An upfront deposit of one-third is required for all projects.
  • Additional meetings (in person, over the phone and on Skype) will be an additional cost.
  • Rushed delivery of text, between 24 – 48 hours, will have a 25% fee applied.
