Count Your Blessings

Count your blessings.

Count your blessings for every time you wake up in the morning.

Count your blessings for the warmth and safety of the house you live in.

Count your blessings for the cloths that cover your body.

Count your blessings for the food you have – no matter the amount.

Count your blessings for the clean water you have that nourishes and bathes you.

Count your blessings for the oxygen that keeps you alive and well.

Count your blessings for the senses you have; seeing, smelling, tasting, touching and hearing.

Count your blessings for the health you have and the health care system you have access to.

Count your blessings for the nature that surrounds you, and the peace that nature brings to your soul.

Count your blessings for the warmth of the sun that gives life to this beautiful planet, and the vitamin D we need for our bodies.

Count your blessings for the people that care most for you.

Count your blessings for the education you have access to.

Count your blessings for all the great material things that reside in your life, making life that much sweeter.

And count your blessings for all the opportunities that come your way, to help better your overall life, and to help you become the best version of yourself.

Make sure to always count your blessings, no matter the size or quantity, because all of these blessings we have – including life itself – are privileges, not a given right. By reminding ourselves of this, we create a humble, conscious and appreciative state of abundance, allowing us to receive more blessings and happiness, no matter where we reside in the world or how our lives look at this very moment.

When I started counting my blessings, my whole life turned around.
