Life can be great, life can be sour, life can be confusing, life can be plain, life can be humorous, life can be frantic, and life can be bliss. Besides all that, the greatest thing about life is that nothing is ever set in stone.
At any moment, whether it be in the next minute, hour, day, week, or month, your life can do a total 360 degree spin and change for the better. Be mindful that you must be open and ready for this change to occur. How beautiful is that? I’d say really beautiful.
This “knowing” is great to always keep in mind, because at some point or another we all feel the pressures of life, which can throw us into a serious tailspin. These pressures can be very daunting and downright draining, making it seem like a dense cloud floats above our head, preventing the rays of the Sun to shine onto a life that can be really beautiful. The result of staying under this gloomy cloud and not being aware of it, is not moving forward with your life, thus prolonging the inevitable change that the Universe wants to provide you with.
There is great news, so please don’t panic, every dark cloud has its time, and eventually moves on, making way for the Sun to shine once more. And this is why it’s so important to remind yourself, that where you currently stand, however short or long it may be, your life can and will change for the better. Keep moving forward the best that you can, because doing so creates that opening in the clouds which turns everything around at any moment.
Ironically enough, most “successful” people have all gone through the tailspin of life. Let’s look at Steve Harvey, in the late 80’s, Steve was homeless for about two years. Things looked pretty bleak, but as we know, at any moment your life can change for the better. Steve managed to turn his life around and is now the host of Family Feud, the host of the Steve Harvey Show and the author of three books: Act like a Lady, Think Like A Man… Straight Talk, No Chaser... and Act Like A Success, Think Like A Success. Also, Steve Harvey’s net worth is about one hundred million dollars, and he is just one of the many examples of how this universe works in our life, and how any gloomy situation we experience is never permanent.
One moment you can be jobless, and the next you have 10 job opportunities. One moment you can be low on funds, and the next you win the lottery. One moment you can be feeling lonely and single, and the next you have met the person of your dreams. Everything in this Universe is constantly changing, especially you. Our bodies are never the same, in fact, there are certain cells and tissues in our bodies that are constantly changing. So you see, be happy and humble where you are, and know that you and your life are constantly improving. Keep in mind that you must maintain a high level of optimism and take action, even if its baby steps, in order to keep the moments of positive change occurring.
With this in mind, take a moment tonight before bed to reflect on your life. Reflect on how you persevered through those dark clouds. Look at how you’ve weathered all those storms and are still here. Notice how every moment of your life has been changing for the better whether you’ve noticed it or not. Notice how your life isn’t so bad after all and it’s only getting more and more beautiful. Beauty takes time and is coming into fruition everyday you wake, with every moment that passes by. Be patient because your life is changing for the better, and your “any moment” is closer than you think.
Life is a series of natural and spontaneous changes. Don’t resist them; that only creates sorrow. Let reality be reality. Let things flow naturally forward in whatever way they like.
